Your majesty within

This fence was torn apart by the destructive forces of Hurricane Irma to reveal the stunning majesty that lies within. I’ve discovered that sometimes pain comes into our life to tear open the walls we built to protect ourselves so we can share our beauty with the world again. While certainly painful, I have great gratitude for those painful times. Other times we do the work to learn to love ourselves more... tearing down the wall of lies that contains us to allow our hearts to be able to finally expand and share the unique song your heart sings... not just a few lines. May you let your heart become so big that the walls that were built out of...

Necessary Resistance

On this morning's grateful walk, I found gratitude for the wind giving necessary resistance for the birds to fly. I thanked the wind for reminding me that sometimes I need resistance in my life to fly to new heights and also providing me with a supportive push forward when I am in the flow.   May today find you flying to new heights providing new yet deeper perspective to the beauty of life. -Jenny and Bella

Freedom

When I turned around from taking this picture of the sunrise on our morning grateful walk, I noticed several police cars surrounding around twenty men near the picnic bench where Bella hunts for iguanas. Rise with the Sun

Guess who I discovered in the "Our Key West" magazine today? Bella! Here is what it says -  Grateful Walks - Rise with the Sun On our morning grateful walk, I choose to rise with the sun by allowing my heart to seek beauty around me and within me. If my mind wanders to the past, I look back with gratitude for the wisdom acquired. If my mind reaches for the future, I look forward in faith. When I stay in the moment, I thank Bella for being my joyful companion, the music of the waves for calming my heart, the birds for reminding me to let my soul soar, and the rays of light for reminding me that the...
